MERA MATI MERA DESH
Date 11/8/2023 by NSS Unit at Khalsa College MERA MATI MERA DESH Celebration of heroes under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav was planned On this occasion, Shri Ramesh Kumar, working Border Security Force, was the chief guest and Shri Satish Kumar Sharma retired from the post of army of India Army officer expressed his views in the program. Students performed skit, dance, song etc.
Makar Sankranti festival was celebrated with joy and enthusiasm in Khalsa Mahavidyalaya on 16 January 2024. The festival was aimed at instilling cooperation, harmony and enthusiasm among the students. With the aim of establishing a plastic-free environment in the college, they were encouraged to use paper kites instead of polythene kites available in the market. The students attended the event after controlling their attendance at their homes. After the classes, the students reached the ground where they fed each other sesame laddus and maintained brotherhood. The students also appeared excited to be a part of the kite flying. Principal Dr. Sunita Bokde sent her best wishes for Makar Sankranti to the professors and students and urged them to always move forward towards heights like a kite and to always accept the difficulties coming in the way of success as challenges.
