WORLD POPULATION DAY
Today, Date 14/07/2023 on the occasion of World Population Census Day, an essay competition was organized in Khalsa College. Principal of college Dr. Sunita Bokde discussed with the students about the world population census. World Population Day 2023 theme: Envisioning such a world where we are all 8 billion people is facing the challenges of population census. Essay competition was organized on the challenge of increasing population more than 50 students participated in competition
Makar Sankranti festival was celebrated with joy and enthusiasm in Khalsa Mahavidyalaya on 16 January 2024. The festival was aimed at instilling cooperation, harmony and enthusiasm among the students. With the aim of establishing a plastic-free environment in the college, they were encouraged to use paper kites instead of polythene kites available in the market. The students attended the event after controlling their attendance at their homes. After the classes, the students reached the ground where they fed each other sesame laddus and maintained brotherhood. The students also appeared excited to be a part of the kite flying.
