Eco Club of Khalsa Mahavidyalaya of Durg district organized a plantation drive in the college campus on 03/01/2024. Under the supervision of Eco Club in-charge Mrs. Abha Sharma, the club members cleaned the old pots in the campus and planted about 50 plants of seasonal flowers. They decorated the entrance with pots. Plants laden with flowers transmit positive energy and help in maintaining the balance of the environment. Hence, it is our fundamental responsibility to make the campus green and contribute to maintaining the beauty of the earth. The entire work from preparing the soil to planting the saplings and arranging the pots was completed by each member of the Eco Club. College Principal Dr. Sunita Bokade assured the children that we should not limit ourselves to only planting saplings. But we have to take responsibility of each pot and take care of it ever.
