General Guidelines
Once a student is admitted to any of course in the college, he/ she must abide by the following rules and regulations.
1. Student must attend popular lecture/ seminars/ debates/ functions arranged by the college, for overall personality development of the students.
2. Minimum 80% attendance in regular theory and practical classes is compulsory for grant of term. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to appear for examinations. students should give leave application id they are on leave
3. Students are expected to take active part in extra-curricular activities organized by the college from time to time.
4. Students must park their vehicles in the parking stand only and bicycles with proper lock system.
5. Home assignments, test, tutorials, seminar are compulsory.
6. Students should inform their progress to their parents, guardians.
7. Fines are imposed for the absence to classes without prior information.
8. Students must go through various notices and circulars displayed on the notice boards of the college from time to time regarding all activities including examinations, scholarships and placement opportunities.
9. Misbehavior on the party of the students is considered as a serious affiance.
10. Damage to the college property caused by the students will be duly recovered from them.
11. Undertaking should be given against ragging.
12. Dress code is compulsory.
13. Fees should pay on time
14. Smoking, Tobacco-Chewing, use of Drugs strictly prohibited in the college premises
15. Students are liable to lose their term for disobedience , misconduct, misbehavior or for any act of indiscipline. Students must take proper care of all the college property. Any damage done to the property of the college by disfiguring walls, doors, windows, fittings, furniture and such other things is breach of discipline and will be considered a punishable offence.
RAGGING RELATED GUIDELINES :
- Any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which as the effect or teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student.
- Indulging in rowdy or indiscipline activities by any student or students which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship, physical or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student.
- Asking any student to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher or any other student
- Any act by a senior student that prevents, disrupts or disturbs the regular academic activity of any other or a fresher.
- Exploiting the services of a fresher or any other student for completing the academic tasks assigned to an individual or a group of students.
- Any act of financial extortion of forceful expenditure burden put on a fresher or any student or students.
- Any act of physical abuse including all variants of it ; sexual abuse homosexual assaults, stripping, forcing obscene and lewd acts, gestures, causing bodily harm or any other danger to health or person.
- Any act or abuse by spoken words, e mails ,post, public insults which would also include deriving perverted pleasure ,vicarious, or sadistic thrill from actively or passively participating in the discomfiture to fresher or any other student.
- Any act that effects the mental health and self-confidence of a fresher or any other student.
