CONSTITUTION DAY
A dialogue was organized on Constitution Day on 25 November 2023 at Khalsa College, Durg in which the education trainees prepared and performed dialogues in groups on the fundamental rights, duties, various articles mentioned in the Constitution. This activity was interesting for the students, in which the trainees came to know and understand the constitutional values through dialogue. Constitution Day is actually a means of paying tribute to its creator Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and to make the common citizens aware of the struggle for its creation, the principles of the Constitution, value processes and importance. Expressing happiness over this activity, Principal Dr. Sunita Bokade said that the Constitution is the pride of India.
Makar Sankranti festival was celebrated with joy and enthusiasm in Khalsa Mahavidyalaya on 16 January 2024. The festival was aimed at instilling cooperation, harmony and enthusiasm among the students. With the aim of establishing a plastic-free environment in the college, they were encouraged to use paper kites instead of polythene kites available in the market. The students attended the event after controlling their attendance at their homes. After the classes, the students reached the ground where they fed each other sesame laddus and maintained brotherhood. The students also appeared excited to be a part of the kite flying. Principal Dr. Sunita Bokde sent her best wishes for Makar Sankranti to the professors and students and urged them to always move forward towards heights like a kite and to always accept the difficulties coming in the way of success as challenges.
