B.Ed trainees of Khalsa Mahavidyalaya, Durg organized a one-day community camp in village Kodia today on 3 February 2024. The camp started with the cleaning of the school council. The school premises were decorated with rangoli, charts, models. The teacher trainers planted plants like mango, neem along with cutting the trees in the school premises and took a promise from the school students to take care of the plants by providing water to them. B.Ed students Monalisa and Muskan made the girls of class VII, VIII aware of their physical conditions at the time of good touch bad touch and menstruation through a chart and inspired them to make their mother, sister, sister-in-law aware of their physical health. Along with making the school students aware of government and government scholarship examinations and schemes, students Tushar and Piyush introduced them to optional subjects during subject selection at the higher secondary level.  Student Shubham told the story of Manoj Sharma’s struggle from being a village boy to becoming an IAS officer. After school education, sports were organized for the students. Members of Khalsa Education Society called this community camp objective-oriented and congratulated it for its successful conduct.
