Khalsa College in Durg celebrated the 24th foundation day of Chhattisgarh on November 1, 2023, by organizing various activities to promote the state’s culture. Faculty and students participated in traditional Chhattisgarhi attire, engaging in activities such as teaching in Chhattisgarhi language and performing traditional dances showcasing the state’s folk music, culture, and costumes. The event highlighted Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage, which has been influenced by various traditions, including Vaishnav, Shaiv, Buddhist, and other historical dynasties. The celebration reflected the college’s efforts to preserve and promote the state’s unique cultural identity.
