On National Voting Day on 25 January 2024, a discussion was organized at Khalsa Mahavidyalaya Durg on the topic ‘Why is voting necessary’. In the discussion, the Principal of the college, Dr. Sunita Bokde, while highlighting the importance of voting, motivated the youth to take out time and vote. In the discussion, the teacher trainees put forth their views. The professors and student teachers of the college participated in the voting awareness program organized by the Election Commission in BIT College Durg, whose topic was ‘Why is voting necessary’, where the youth were introduced to the importance and disadvantages of voting through a short film by the officer.
