The 76th Death Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated in Khalsa Mahavidyalaya, Durg on 30 January 2024. The Principal, teachers and students of the college gathered in the campus and paid floral tributes to Gandhiji’s photograph and remembered his thoughts. The Principal of the college, Dr. Sunita Bokade, while addressing the students, urged them to imbibe only one thought of Gandhiji in their lives. Student Dev Shashri shared Gandhiji’s journey of becoming the Father of the Nation with everyone. The trainees, committee and professors experienced peace by participating in Ramdhuni. After this, 5 minutes of meditation was done in the tune of Vaishnav Jan Dene. Even the British had accepted defeat in front of Gandhiji’s ideals and non-violence. Gandhiji’s thoughts always inspire us to move towards development, so this day inspires us to adopt his ideal conduct and discipline in our lives.
