LIBRARY RULES

The college Library and Reading room is well equipped with books, periodicals and news papers dealing with diverse topic of interest specially suited to students. They should try to draw the maximum benefit from them.

1. Books from the college library will be issued/ returned during the library period as assigned in the class time table.
2. Only two books will be issued against the Students Library Cards.
3. A book must be examined by the borrower before leaving the Library. Any damage must be brought to the notice of the librarian. The borrower will be held responsible for any damage to the book while in his/her charge.
4. Every student should return all the books issued by the every fifteen days. A fine @ of Rs. 2 per day will be charge after the due date.
5. Any book lost, defected or damaged in any way should be replaced by a new copy of the same title and latest edition or to pay double the cost of the book.
6. Loss of Student’s Library Card should be brought to the notice of the Librarian. New Card will be issued with the new documents submission within two days.
7. Habitual carelessness handling books of the library and unruly conduct towards the Librarian will render a student liable to suspension from further use of Library.
8. Personal books, books of other Library or other personal belongings such as bag etc. are not allowed to carry in the Library.
9. All Library books must be returned at least fifteenth days before the final examination and “No Dues Certificate” must be obtained.
10. Students can keep books for examination at some security amount Rs. 500/- for two books. This amount is refund when the students return books after the examination.
11. Students should return books within one week after the examination is over. Otherwise fine of Rs 2 per day will be charged.
