Khalsa College, Durg and Khalsa Public Higher Secondary School, Durg celebrated its 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. Senior officials from the Khalsa Education Society were present on the occasion. The event began at 8:00 AM with the national flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the rendition of “Vande Mataram”. Students showcased their talents through patriotic poems, speeches, songs, and dances. The Chairman of Khalsa Education Society, Sardar Tarsem Singh Dhillon, paid tribute to brave freedom fighters and urged everyone to uphold the country’s independence and honor.

On the occasion of the holy festival of Hareli celebrated on 08 August 2026. The first festival of Chhattisgarh, an exhibition of traditional dishes of Chhattisgarh, traditional games and dances were performed. Through this festival, future teachers were made aware of the culture of Chhattisgarh and were given the opportunity and enthusiasm to preserve it.

खालसा कॉलेज दुर्ग में 1 अगस्त 2026 को बी. एड. प्रशिक्षणार्थियों द्वारा गुरु पूर्णिमा पर्व के अवसर पर शिक्षक सम्मान कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। गुरु पूर्णिमा के पावन पर्व पर विद्यार्थियों ने भारतीय ज्ञान परंपरा का अनुसरण करते हुए अपने गुरुओं के प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करने के लिए कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया। विद्यार्थियों ने सर्वप्रथम प्राचार्य सहित प्राध्यापक को तिलक लगाकर स्वागत किया तत्पश्चात मां सरस्वती के श्री चरणों में पुष्प अर्पित कर दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ रंगा-रंग कार्यक्रम का आगाज किया। सर्वप्रथम छात्रा सुमन ने स्वागत नृत्य प्रस्तुत कर अध्यापकों को भाव-विभोर किया। वहीं पायल एवं समूह ने गीत द्वारा दर्शकों का ध्यान आकर्षित किया छात्रा सुतापा ने अपने भाषण द्वारा अध्यापकों को भावुक किया वहीं छात्र सौरभ ने गुरु पूर्णिमा पर्व की महत्ता को साझा किया।

Khalsa College, Durg celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas by organizing speech, patriotic song, and poetry recitation competitions to honor the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. The program began with a tribute to the martyrs, followed by an inspiring address by Principal Dr. Sunita Bokde on the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Students shared speeches on Operation Vijay, the history of the Kargil War, and the courage of the Indian Armed Forces, while patriotic songs and poems filled the atmosphere with national pride. The event concluded successfully, inspiring students with the values of patriotism, courage, and dedication towards the nation

खालसा कॉलेज दुर्ग में 4 अप्रैल 2026 को वार्षिक उत्सव ‘‘अभिव्यक्ति’’ का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में सरदार त्रिलोक सिंह ढिल्लों, प्रेसिडेंट खालसा एजुकेशन सोसाइटी एवं विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में सरदार राजेंद्र पाल सिंह भाटिया, प्रेसिडेंट खालसा स्कूल मैनेजिंग कमेटी उपस्थित रहे। इस अवसर पर खालसा एजुकेशन समिति के सम्माननीय सदस्य उपस्थित रहे। राजकीय एवं राष्ट्रीय गीत के पश्चात् मुख्य अतिथि द्वारा दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया गया। अतिथियों के औपचारिक स्वागत पश्चात सरदार हरमीत सिंह भाटिया, सेक्रेटरी खालसा स्कूल मैनेजिंग कमेटी ने स्वागत उद्बोधन द्वारा विद्यार्थी एवं शिक्षकों को कार्यक्रम की अग्रिम शुभकामनाएं प्रेषित करते हुए कॉलेज की प्रगति में अपनी सहभागिता सुनिश्चित करने का आह्वान किया। वहीं कॉलेज की प्राचार्य डॉ. सुनीता बोकडे ने वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत करते हुए बताया कि पूर्व वर्ष की भांति वर्ष 2024-25 में कॉलेज के बी.एड. छात्र शुभम जायसवाल ने हेमचंद यादव विश्वविद्यालय के बी.एड. मेरिट लिस्ट में पंचम स्थान प्राप्त किया।
